OSHA 7205 - Health Hazard Awareness

This 6 hour training course provides an introduction to common health hazards that are encountered in the workplace. These health hazards will include exposure to chemicals, asbestos, silica, and lead. Special emphasis will be given to the recently updated Silica standard. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

- Identify types of health hazards and sources of exposure;
- Identify ways to recognize, evaluate, and control hazards in the workplace;
- Locate OSHA resources on health hazards; and
- Identify engineering and work practice controls.
